August at the Roundup

The Sex Kitten Roundup came back around in August, and Paisley Parque's monthly show at Warehouse 29 delivered exactly what the crowd came for.

Lawanda Jackson and Denise Russell handled the performances. Lawanda brought fire in blue sequins, caught mid song with the kind of intensity that fills a room. Denise commanded the stage in silver, microphone in hand, every gesture deliberate. Paisley hosted in character as always, blonde wig and hot pink, holding a glazed donut like a prop and a punchline at the same time.

The crowd was loose and happy. The room was doing what it did best.
