Versage Takes the Crown
November brought a preliminary pageant for North Carolina Entertainer of the Year to Warehouse 29, and the stage rose to the occasion. The name of the pageant is one I no longer recall, but what happened on that stage is harder to forget.
Ebony Addams, Scarlett Dailey, Crystal Frost, Versage Holt, Anjelica Dust, Big Shirli Stevenz, Cherries Jubilee, The Lady Diamond, Fuscia Rage, Raven Wood, and Jamie Monroe brought everything they had. Feathers, crowns, ballgowns, and pearls filled the room from the first performance to the last.
Versage Holt took the title that night.
