Sharp and Celebrated

To round out our birthday visit, Aries and I spent some time on portraits. He came dressed for it, with a sharp vest and a newsboy cap, ready to celebrate another year.

We started outside among the trees and greenery, then moved indoors where the warm light and wood tones gave the portraits a richer feel. The green in his hair stood out against everything, a small sign of the confidence he’s growing into. He was more relaxed in front of the camera this time, and it showed.

Watching Aries become more comfortable being himself is one of my favorite things to see. Sharing a birthday month with my godson makes it even more meaningful, and these portraits are the best gift I could have asked for.
