Indianapolis, Indiana (October 2017)
The Circle City
Business brought me to Indianapolis for the first time, and of course my camera came along. With a free weekend, I set out on foot to see what the city had to offer.
Downtown was easy to wander. The Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Monument stands at the center of everything, the Statehouse dome rises a few blocks away, and the Canal Walk offers a quieter stretch along the water. Just beyond the center, Fountain Square had a personality all its own, with old brick, bold signs, and murals on the walls.
I arrived knowing almost nothing about Indianapolis. By the end of the weekend, it had become one more city I was glad work gave me a reason to see.
